Well written and interesting! I never knew about Nimeiry. I also didn't know Kaddafi tried politically integrate with so many countries, were those attempts related to the stuff he was trying to do vis a vis the African Union stuff?

Gaddafi was initially pan-Arabist before he was pan-African.
